Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba has revealed that he tries to remember the good moments he had at Chelsea in an interview with FourFourTwo.

“I had beautiful, sad, frustrating, and tough moments at Chelsea. But now I’m far away from those days. I try to forget the bad memories and remember good ones,” he said.

The 29-year-old striker was involved in the title race with Chelsea last season, the Blues finished the 2013-14 Premier League season in third place just four points behind champions Manchester City.

Ba hit the back of the net six times in 22 matches under former Chelsea head coach Rafael Benitez and scored eight goals in 29 games under current Blues manager Jose Mourinho.

The 29-year-old joined the Black Eagles on a £5.2 million move from Chelsea this summer.

Ba has hit the ground running at his new club and already has 16 goals and two assists in 21 appearances for Beşiktaş in all competitions this season.

The Senegalese international was not selected for the Senegalese African Cup of Nations 2015 squad after falling out with manager Alain Giresse and will be available for the weekend game against Gençlerbirliği.
