Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba will play against Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 first leg at Anfield according to team doctor Ertuğrul Karanlık.
Ba was rumoured to have picked up an injury according to reports in the Turkish press.
The Senegalese international did not feature in training today but Karanlık underlined that he was just being rested.
“Demba Ba is not injured, we just rested him for today’s training but he will be ready for the Liverpool game,” Karanlık told BJK TV.
Ba has hit the ground running since joining on a £5.2 million move from Chelsea in the summer.
The Senegalese international has 13 Süper Lig goals this season, only Bursaspor forward Fernandao has scored as many in the league.
Ba has a total of 22 goals in all competitions for the Black Eagles this season.
The Senegalese international scored 19 goals in the 2012-13 season where he played for both Newcastle and Chelsea.
