Dietmar Hamann likens Emre Can to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard

The former Liverpool defensive midfielder Dietmar Hamann has stated that Emre Can possesses similar traits to the Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
Can has become a key member of the Liverpool squad since joining from Bayer Leverkusen last summer. Liverpool have only lost one Premier League game in which Can has started in defence this season.
”Can is similar to Gerrard. You won’t see him screaming at players,” Hamann told Liverpool FC’s official website.
“Instead, he just gets on with his job of playing well and helping the team win, no matter which role he is asked to perform.”
