Diego Ribas’s father denies reports linking his son to Sao Paulo

The Fenerbahce playmaker Diego’s father Djair Cunha has stated that there has been no contact from the Brazilian side Sao Paulo.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder has been linked with a move back to Brazil following a difficult spell in Turkey.
“I have been contacted by journalists regarding the future of Diego,” Djair told the Turkish newspaper Milliyet.
“There has not been any talks with Sao Paulo. If there are any developments I will release a statement.”

Diego has made ten league appearances however is yet to register an assist or goal for his new side.
