Dirk Kuyt and Raul Meireles suffer injuries during Istanbul derby

Fenerbahce’s Dirk Kuyt and Raul Meireles were forced to come off the field in the Istanbul Derby on Saturday due to injuries.
Kuyt suffered a second degree tear in his hamstring and was substituted off in the second half for Diego Ribas.
Raul Meireles was also taken off for a hamstrung injury in the 35th minute in place of Moussa Sow. Sow went on the score the winning goal for Fenerbahce.

The Yellow Canaries ended up winning the derby 1-0 and closing the gap with leaders Galatasaray to just tho points.
Fenerbahçe are currently third in the Süper Lig, one point behind second placed Beşiktaş.
Kuyt has four assists and eight goals in 27 appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
