Dirk Kuyt & Raul Meireles to join charity tie coverage [divider]

Fenerbahçe duo Dirk Kuyt and Raul Meireles were forced to pull out of the Liverpool FC All-Star charity match on Sunday due to injury however, both will join the matchday coverage instead.

Kuyt and Meireles will be involved in the Liverpool FC TV matchday coverage of the game.

Both players picked up an injury during the Yellow Canaries 1-0 win over Beşiktaş in the Istanbul derby.

The families of both players will be attending to game to show their support.

The Liverpool FC Foundation is hosting the event and Steven Gerrard as well as Jamie Carragher will captain the two teams taking part. The event will raise funds for local charities.

Kuyt and Meireles were both former Liverpool players before joining Fenerbahçe.

The Istanbul giants are currently third in the Süper Lig, just two points behind league leaders Galatasaray and one behind second placed Beşiktaş.

Fenerbahçe will take on Çaykut Rizespor away from home after the international break.
