Fenerbahçe winger Dirk Kuyt has revealed that he wants to return to the club in the future.
Kuyt revealed that he will leave the Yellow Canaries at the end of the season and join former club Feyenoord.
The 34-year-old spent three seasons at Feyenoord, scoring 71 goals in 101 games, becoming a fan favourite at the Rotterdam based club.
The former Netherlands international does however, believe he will return to the club in a different role.
“I have plans to play football until the age of 40 but I always see myself as having a role in the game of football,” Kuyt told Fenerbahçe Magazine.
“I see myself returning to Fenerbahçe in a different role in the future, I hope something like this happens.”
The former Netherlands international has been playing in Turkey at Fenerbahce since making a €1 million move in 2012.
Fenerbahçe are currently second in the Süper Lig, one point behind league leaders Beşiktaş.
The Yellow Canaries could however, drop into third position should rivals Galatasaray beat Akhisar today.
The Yellow Canaries take on Sivasspor next at the 4 Eylül stadium.
