Chelsea legend Didier Drogba made a surprise visit to the Galatasaray training grounds in Florya yesterday dressed in military garb, wearing a camouflage jacket and beret.
Drogba was not however, planning a coup, instead he celebrated former teammate Umut Bulut’s birthday.
The 37-year-old striker also revealed that he believes Chelsea will win the Premier League title this season.
“There is still a long way to go in the title race, we have to play Manchester United and Arsenal which will not be easy but we believe we can win our remaining games and become champions,” Drogba told Galatasaray Tv.
The Blues are currently first in the Premier League, six points clear of second placed Manchester City with a game in hand.
Chelsea take on Hull City next in the league but have tough games against Arsenal and Manchester United still to come.
Drogba joined Galatasaray on a free transfer from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua in January 2012.
The 37-year-old won the Süper Lig, Turkish Cup and reached the quarter-final of the Champions League while at the Lions before rejoining Chelsea in the summer.
