Portuguese starlet Bruma will make his first start of the season against Karabukspor today at the Turk Telekom Arena.

The Galatasaray winger has made a triumphant return after spending last season on loan at Real Sociedad, lighting up the pre-season friendlies with his goals including a find striker in the 5-2 defeat against Manchester United in Sweden.

United boss Jose Mourinho ordered his scouts to keep tabs on the 21-year-old following the victory and praised Bruma for his display.

The Galatasaray told reporters in the mixed zone after the game that Mourinho had a brief meeting with him.

“He congratulated me for the performance and said he was impressed with me,” Bruma said. “He promised to closely monitor my work and said I could play for the national team soon.

“Of course it was amazing to hear this from Mourinho and he said he will keep an eye on how I do this season.”

The Istanbul giants are however, intent on keeping hold of the Portugal international winger a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com and they value the young winger as being worth €25 million.

Jan Olde Rierkerink has made it clear that Bruma will be a star player this season and the Dutch coach will also with Tolga Cigerci his debut today after joining from HSV.

Galatasaray have a full strength squad with Muslera, Chedjou, captain Selcuk Inan and Wesley Sneijder all in the starting line-up.
