€8.5m Liverpool & Everton target unhappy in Turkey

Fenerbahce winger Luis Nani is reported to be unhappy at Fenerbahce according to Fanatik due to his role in the team under the stewardship of Vitor Pereira.

Turkish newspaper Haberturk reported that Nani was promised a first team place and that he would be an influential player.

Nani was given an important role in the team and did score 12 goals while providing 13 assists last season but he was reported to have fallen out with the the Portuguese manager.

The 29-year-old is reported to be unhappy with his role in the team and does not want to work alongside Pereira next season.

The Portuguese international currently has an €8.5 million clause and Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik claim that Liverpool are ready to activate Nani’s release clause while rivals Everton are also in the race.

Nani’s agent Lucas Brascherini also confirmed that the former United winger in considering leaving Fenerbahce after the European Championships in France.

The Portuguese winger will not make a decision on his future until after Euro 2016 and he is currently the joint top scorer for his national team. .

“Nani will make a decision on his future once he is back but he is looking to leave Fenerbahce,” Brascherini was quoted as saying by AS.
