Emenike has no problem with Fenerbahce manager says agent [divider]
Fenerbahçe striker Emmanuel Emenike is happy in Turkey and has no problem with manager Ismail Kartal according to his agent Erdem Konyar.
“Emenike is being misrepresented in the press,” Konyar said.
“What he said to the Nigerian media is being mistranslated in Turkey, it is being lost in translation.
“Emenike was explaining why he had struggled to score this season, he was criticising himself, nothing he said was directed at the manager.
“He was annoyed with himself for not scoring.
“No player, especially a striker likes to leave the game before scoring, this is natural.
“Emenike wants to play and score, he wants to prove himself and give something back to the fans and the manager.”
Emenike was reported to have been unhappy with Kartal playing him out of position on the wing.
The Nigerian international has been linked with a move to England and Qatar but the Yellow Canaries released a statement today confirming that he would be staying in Istanbul.
