Emre Belözoğlu hints at MLS move [divider]
Fenerbahçe midfielder Emre Belözoğlu has hinted that he would be open to an MLS move at the end of the season.
“I have a contract with Fenerbahçe until the end of the season,” Belözoğlu said.
“I want to play for another few seasons, I have no intention of retiring yet.
“Fenerbahçe is my team right now, we will talk about my future at the end of the season.
“If we fail to agree terms I could move abroad, the US or another club in Europe could be on the cards.
“But for now I just want to focus on Fenerbahçe and winning the league title here.
“I am not going to comment on whatever news is being circulated on social media.”
Belözoğlu has scored 26 times and provided 22 assists in 186 appearances for Fenerbahçe since joining from Newcastle United in 2008.
The Turkish international has won six Süper Lig titles, the UEFA Cup and two UEFA Super Cups.
