Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic revealed that Fenerbahçe midfielder Emre Belözoğlu wanted to start trouble in the Istanbul derby.

Belözoğlu had an altercation with Bilic in the first half and had to be restrained by Beşiktaş players.

“I did not do anything to Emre, I had a problem with the Fenerbahçe substitutes and staff entering our technical area,” Bilic told Lig Tv after the game.

“Emre then got involved and tried to cause trouble, I was not happy with the way the players tried to put pressure on us.”
