Emre Can disappoints in Liverpool's defeat to Man Utd

Emre Can put on a disappointing performance during Liverpool’s defeat to Manchester United over the weekend.

The 21-year-old played the full 90 minutes for the second time in a row for the Red’s this season. The Germany international has found his chance in Liverpool’s starting eleven due to Jordan Henderson’s injury.

Can received a rating of 6.32 from whoscored. The former Bayern Munich man made just one tackle, one interception and no clearances over the duration of the game.

Can made no key passes, no shots on target and maintained a passing accuracy of 77%.

Can started his second consecutive game for the Germany national team – against Scotland at right-back last week. The former Bayer Leverkusen man has however spent this season in his favoured midfield position for Liverpool.

The 21-year-old joined the Reds on a £9.75 million transfer from Bayer Leverkusen last summer. Liverpool take on Norwich City in the Premier League next weekend.
