Liverpool’s Emre Can has heaped praise on Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and has stated that it would be like a dream to achieve what Gerrard has in the game.
Can has been likened to Gerrard by various pundits over recent weeks for his dominating displays in defence and leadership qualities on the field.
“He has been playing for Liverpool since his childhood and already is a living legend,” Can told Sport Bild.
“I am Emre Can and will go my own way. To achieve a career like Gerrard has done would be a dream, but it’s far from easy.”
