Emre Can 'enjoying' playing under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool star Liverpool team news

Emre Can has stated that he is enjoying working under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The Germany international spent the majority of last season playing in defence as part of a three-back and at right back under previous manager Brendan Rodgers, who signed him from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 22-year-old went onto state that he still has much to learn and hopes to continue his development under the German coach.

Every manager has their own style and Jurgen Klopp has his own style and that is why a lot has changed [since Klopp arrived], but I am enjoying it,” Emre Can told SkySports News.

“Of course I have to learn so many things and I have to work hard and then hopefully I will be better in a few years.”

Liverpool take on last placed Aston Villa next in the league on Sunday 14 February and Can is expected to start after being rested against West Ham in the FA Cup.

The Red’s are currently in ninth place with 35 points in 25 games and can move up to seventh place with a win this weekend.
