Liverpool’s Emre Can has been included in the BBC reporter Garth Crooks’s team of the week.

Can played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s 2-0 victory against Southampton. The Reds have now kept 5 successive clean sheets away from home in the league for the first time in 30 years

The 21-year-old Germany U21 international received a rating of 7.34 for his performance against Southampton from whoscored.com.

Can, who played on the right side of a three man defence, made four successful tackles, one interception and three clearances.

The former Bayern Munich man is expected to play in Liverpool’s clash with Besiktas in Istanbul next week.

The Germany U21 international has one goal and one assist in 25 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season.
