Emre Can put in a hardworking performance during Liverpool’s disappointing 3-1 defeat at the hands of Sevilla in the Europa League final.

The 22-year-old received a  rating of 6.9 from WhoScored for his performance on the night.

Can made six clearances, three interceptions and three tackles. The Germany international however, maintained a passing accuracy of just 74%.

Sevilla became the first side to win the tournament for the third consecutive season coming from behind to score three times in the second half.

The Germany international of Turkish origin was unable to prevent his side losing on the night and was partly to blame for conceding the third goal.

Can has been included in Germany’s provisional squad which will travel to France for Euro 2016.
