Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has stated that the he belives the Merseyside Clubs’s new young transfers will come good.
The Reds brought in Mario Balotelli, Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana, Alberto Moreno, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic, and Javier Manquillo during the summer transfer window.
”I think they will deliver, for sure. A few we can see already are improving and playing a lot better,” Lucas said to the clubs official website.
“I took a while to settle in, that’s why I really don’t like to judge a young player coming into a new country.
“It’s better to give them time and people sometimes are excited or anxious to see them perform.
“But I think if you let them play and relax, they will have the chance to play a lot better and to a much higher level.”
Can has received limited playing time this season despite joining on a £10.5 million move from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
The young midfielder has only played 16 minutes in Liverpool’s last eight games in all competition.
