Liverpool will face Beşiktaş in Europa League Round of 32.

The draw took place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzterland. The first leg will take place on 19 February 2015 and the return match will be played on 26 February.

The Black Eagles beat Tottenham 1-0 in Istanbul to top Group C with 14 points.

Beşiktaş are currently leaders in the Süper Lig with 29 points from 13 games.

Demba Ba has been in prolific form for the Black Eagles, scoring 16 times in 18 appearances this season and has a good record against Liverpool from his time at Chelsea.

Ba famously scored against Liverpool last season while playing for the Blues. Steven Gerrard’s infamous slip against Chelsea allowed Ba a free run on goal to give the London based side the lead the lead.

Liverpool’s title challenge suffered a huge blow following that 2-0 loss.

The Reds drew 1-1 against Basel in their final Champions League group game to finish in third-place and qualify for the Europa League.

Liverpool are currently 10th in the Premier League on 21 points from 16 games.

Emre Can will be hoping to re-establish himself in the Liverpool first team in time for the Round of 32.

The 20-year-old midfielder has not featured in any of the Reds last six games.

Can moved to Liverpool on a £9.75m deal from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
