Enes Unal signs four-year deal with Manchester City

Manchester City have completed the signing of Enes Ünal on a four-year deal a close source told Turkish-football.com.

As reported by Turkish-football.com’s Emre Sarıgül writing for the Guardian on Friday Ünal completed a medical before officially signing for the Citizens on Monday.

The 18-year-old became City boss Manuel Pellegrini’s first major signing of the transfer window and is reported to have joined for a £2 million fee.

City shared a picture of Ünal alongside sporting director Tixi Begiristain via their official Twitter account.

The Turkish international posted a tweet in May 2012 stating that everybody in his family supports the Sky Blues.

The tweets translates to, “I can’t believe it, everybody in my house including my mum are M.City fans.”

The tweet was posted following Kun Aguero’s title winning goal against QPR for Manchester City.

Ünal has become the first Turkish player to join the Citizens and the youngest player from the Süper Lig to make a move to the Premier League.
