Enes Unal stars in Man City win over Roma

Manchester City beat Roma 5-4 on penalties in the International Champions Cup in Australia.

Summer signing Enes Ünal replaced Iheanacho on 72 minutes to make his second appearance for City since joining on a £2 million transfer from Bursaspor.

The 18-year-old striker was on the field for the penalty shoot-outs but did not get to opportunity to take a spot-kick against Roma.

City ended up winning the shoot-out thanks to the heroics of Joe Hart who scored an outstanding penalty to keep City in the game and then saved the two subsequent spot-kicks to win the match.

The young striker has now played two games for City with both ending in victory. The former Bursaspor forward is expected to get loaned out following the summer tour to gain experience.

Ünal was not the only Turkish international to feature in the game. Roma midfielder Salih Uçan started but did not get to play directly against Ünal as he was taken off at the end of the first half.
