Erciyesspor deny Bulent Korkmaz resignation [divider]
Kayseri Erciyesspor have denied that Bülent Korkmaz has resigned from his position as manager.
Erciyesspor press officer Kaan Savruk released a statement denying that Korkmaz had left.
“If the manager wants to leave he must submit a formal resignation letter,” Savruk said.
“We have no intention of getting rid of Bülent Korkmaz and he is happy with his role as manager.”
Korkmaz joined Erciyesspor at the beginning of this season in place of Hikmet Karaman.
The 46-year-old manager has been in charge for a total of 10 games, Erciyesspor have drawn six, lost three times and won just once under Korkmaz’s command.
Erciyesspor dropped into 15th place following the 2-1 defeat to Eskişehirspor on Sunday.
