Ersun Yanal has arrived in the city of Trabzon to complete his move to Trabzonspor.
Yanal arrived in Trabzon on a private jet and was greeted by Trabzonspor fans upon his departure from the airport.
The Black Sea Storm fired former Algerian national team coach Vahid Halilhodzic following a slow start to the league and for comments he made about his squad to the media.
Yanal is on the verge of signing a 1.5 year deal with Trabzonspor. The former Gençlerbirliği manager is currently without a job after resigning from his position at Fenerbahçe.
Trabzonspor released a statement to the stock exchange yesterday which reads:
“Trabzonspor have begun negotiations with Ersun Yanal for the role as technical director.”
