Ersun Yanal – ‘Trabzonspor need more time’ [divider]
Trabzonspor manager Ersun Yanal underlined that his side are still in need of more time to gel following the 3-2 win against Karabükspor.
The Black Sea Storm had to come from behind and score two late goals to secure a win over the relegation battlers.
“This team is in need of time, we need to gel, there are promising signs, we have put on great performances this season but also awful ones,” Yanal said.
Former Trabzonspor manager Vahid Halilhodzic made 22 transfer in the summer.
Halilhodzic was later replaced by Ersun Yanal who guided Fenerbahçe to the league title last season.
Trabzonspor were knocked out of the Europa League Round of 32 by Napoli last week, losing 5-1 on aggregate.
The Black Sea Storm suffered their heaviest ever European home defeat, losing 4-1 at the Avni Aker stadium.
Trabzonspor are currently sixth in the Süper Lig, just one point behind fourth placed Başakşehir.
