Eskişehirspor beat Galatasaray 1-0 at home in the Turkish Cup to move into first place in Group G on 12 points.
The defeat saw Galatasaray drop into second place on nine points however, both sides secured a place in the next round of the cup following the 1-1 draw between Diyarbakırspor and Balcova.
Hamza Hamzaoğlu rested Wesley Sneijder, Umut Bulut, Fernando Muslera, Felipe Melo and Alex Telles. The Lions boss gave Sinan Gümüş and Yasin Öztekin rare starts.
Former Galatasaray manager Michael Skibbe guided Eskişehirspor in his first game against the Lions.
EsEs take on Konyaspor at the Torku Konya Arena on Sunday while Galatasaray host fourth place Bursaspor at the Türk Telekom Arena.
