Ex Chelsea winger to join Bursaspor on loan

Fenerbahce winger Miroslav Stoch is expected to join Bursaspor on loan according to Eurosport Turkey.

The Slovakian international has fallen down the pecking order at his current club following 10 summer arrivals over the transfer window.

Fenerbahce have in fact signed four players from Bursaspor alone – Fernandao, Volkan Sen, Sener Ozbayrakli and Ozan Tufan.

Frank Arnesen brought Stoch in to the Chelsea U18 side in 2016 and he soon rose through the ranks before his Premiership debut in 2008 against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

The explosive winger joined Dutch side Twente on loan in 2009 to gain experience and further his career and became a regular scoring 13 goals and providing five assists.

Stoch went onto lift the Dutch league title in what was Twente’s first Eredivisie championship in club history.

The Slovakian winger expected to returned to Chelsea after his loan period but ended up being sold to the Yellow Canaries for €5.5 million in 2010.

The 25-year-old played for Al-Ain on loan last season and has since returned to the Yellow Canaries.
