Fatih Terim backs new Galatasaray coach Hamzaoglu [divider]
Turkish national team coach Fatih Terim believes Hamza Hamzaoğlu will do well at Galatasaray.
“Everyone should get behind him,” Terim said.
“If only I had more time to work with him here, he was the right choice in my opinion.
“He will do a great job at Galatasaray, I am sure of it.
“He has a great character and is a really good manager, if he does well it is good for the whole country, we will have another quality manager.”
Former Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim won six league titles, two Turkish Cups and the UEFA Cup as head coach.
Hamzaoğlu was Fatih Terim’s assistant-coach for the Turkish national team before accepting the role as Galatasaray manager.
The 44-year-old coach was also a former Galatasaray player.
