Fenerbahce and Besiktas lead the race to sign Stoke target van der Vaart

Fenerbahce and Besiktas are leading the race to sign HSV’s Netherlands international Rafael van der Vaart according to EurosportTR.

Trabzonspor and Bursaspor have also been closely linked with the 32-year-old while Stoke City and Celtic are also monitoring the situation.

The reports goes onto state that van der Vaart has asked Dirk Kuyt and Wesley Sneijder about living in Istanbul.

The former Tottenham playmaker will be available on free transfer in June unless he renews his contract with HSV.
