Fenerbahçe manager Vitor Pereira has stated that he will build a great team along with the help of sporting director Terrano.
Pereira was unveiled in a signing ceremony today after agreeing to a two-year deal as Fenerbahçe manager.
“Terrano and myself will build a great team that this great club deserves,” Pereira was quoted as saying on the official Fenerbahçe website.
Pereira also pledged to play attractive and attacking based football.
“We will play attacking football it will be a joy to watch,” he added.
The 47-year-old manager won the Greek league with Olympiakos last season by a 12 point margin. Pereira has also won the Portuguese league twice with Porto.
Fenerbahçe finished last season as runners up and were unable to prevent rivals Galatasaray winning the league for a record 20th time and earning the right to wear the fourth star.
The Yellow Canaries did however, book a place in the Champions League play-off stages and will enter European competition for the first time in two years.
