Fanatik claimed Fenerbahçe made Jesus an offer to take over at the end of the season.

The report also claimed that Jesus turned the Yellow Canaries down.

The experienced manager has been in charge of Benfica since 2009 and won the Portuguese league twice.

Jesus also guided Benfica to the Europa League final twice but was unable to break the curse of Bela Guttmann.

Fenerbahçe are currently manager by Ismail Kartal and second in the Süper Lig.

The Yellow Canaries are just two points behind league leaders Galatasaray.

The Istanbul giants have won the league title 19 times and are hoping to win the championship for a record 20th time before rivals Galatasaray.

Fenerbahçe have vowed not to play another Süper Lig game until the assailants in the armed attack on their team bus are found.
