Fenerbahce make decision regarding Stoke City’s Charlie Adam
Fenerbahce have been closely linked with a move for Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam following a recent report by ESPN.
The report claimed that Fenerbahce are plotting a move for the Scotland international midfielder.
A source close to Fenerbahce has however, revealed to Turkish-Football.com that they are not interested in Adam and have not made an offer.
The Yellow Canaries will not be making an offer for Adam to sign him over the winter transfer window.
Adam is no stranger to Fenerbahce manager Dick Advocaat who coached the Scotland international during his time in charge of Rangers.
The Stoke City midfielder has earned himself a first team role but he will be a free agent at the end of the season unless an extension is offered.
The Potters have not offered a new deal as of yet but they do have a clause in his contract to extend it until the summer of 2018.
After failing to start any of Stoke’s first nine Premier League games this season Adam managed to start in 11 of their last 13.

Adam has two goals and four assists in 21 appearances for Stoke in all competitions this season.
Advocaat is an admirer of Adam but he is not currently on his transfer shortlist.
Fenerbahce are in the market for a number 10, the Yellow Canaries have lacked creativity in midfield and hope to bring in an attacking midfielder before the end of the transfer window.
Despite lacking depth and quality in the number 10 role Fenerbahce are currently the highest scoring side in the league.
The Istanbul giants have found the back of the net 37 times in 18 league games this season.
Fenerbahce are currently fourth in the Turkish league, six points behind reigning champions and Istanbul rivals Besiktas.
The Canaries take on Kayserispor next on Sunday 29 January.
