Fenerbahçe are interested in Ajax striker Sigthorsson according to Eurosport TR.

The Yellow Canaries are reported to have made an enquiry for the Iceland international as they continue efforts to sign a forward.

Dirk Kuyt is expected to leave at the end of the season and the future of Nigerian international Emmanuel Emenike is in doubt.

Sighthorsson has also attracted interest from France and England following an impressive season at Ajax.

The 24-year-old joined Ajax on a £3.5 million move from AZ Alkmaar in 2011.

Sighthorsson has five goals and three assists in 18 appearances for Ajax in all competitions this season.

The Iceland international has a total of 33 goals and eight assists in in 97 appearances for the Dutch giants.

Sighthorsson made his international debut in 2010 and has gone onto score 16 times in 27 matches for Iceland.

The 24-year-old is valued in the region of €8 million and still has a year left on his contract.

Fenerbahçe are currently first in the Süper Lig with 36 points and managed by Ismail Kartal.
