Fenerbahce boss praises Akhisar following defeat [divider]
Akhisar defeated Fenerbahçe 2-1 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium to move into 11th place in the Süper Lig.
Fenerbahçe succumbed to their first home loss in 33 games against the Akigolar.
Yellow Canaries manager Ismail Kartal praised his opposition following the game.
“What can you say, I have to congratulate them and we have to look forward,” Kartal told Lig Tv.

Fenerbahçe missed out on the opportunity to end the week as Süper Lig leaders.
The Canaries would have overtaken league leaders Galatasaray had they beat Akhisar but the loss saw them remain in third place.
Beşiktaş started the week as leaders but dropped into second place following their defeat against Eskişehirspor.
Galatasaray beat Sivasspor 3-2 at the 4 Eylül stadium to leapfrog both Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş to move into pole position on 48 points.
There is currently only two points separating the top three in the Süper Lig.
Fenerbahçe travel to Konya next week to take on Konyaspor at the Torku Konya stadium.
