Fenerbahce not interested in Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon

Fenerbahçe are not interested in Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.

Lennon had been closely linked with a £10 million move to Fenerbahçe according to the Sun newspaper.

The Yellow Canaries are however, not in talks with Lennon and have not made an offer to Tottenham for the 28-year-old.

Lennon spent last season out on loan at Everton but failed to secure a regular place in Roberto Martinez’s starting line-up.

The England international provided three assists and scored two goals in 23 Premier League appearances for the Toffies last season.

Fenerbahçe have had a busy transfer window signing eight players already.  Robin van Persie and Nani joined from Manchester United. Also Lille defender Simon Kjaer, Brazil international Josef de Souza, Bursaspor duo Fernandao and Şener Özbayraklı as well as Porto duo Fabiano and Ba have also signed for the Yellow Canaries.

The Yellow Canaries take on Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League preliminary stages at the end of the month.
