Fenerbahce offer two-year deal for Arsenal target Casillas

Fenerbahçe have made Real Madrid goalkeeper a two-year deal according to La Gazetta dello Sport.

Yellow Canaries sporting director Giuliano Terraneo is reported to have close tied with Real Madrid and Fenerbahçe board member Mahmut Uslu did not deny interest when asked about Casillas.

“We could sign a foreign goalkeeper the new manager is looking at keepers who are out of contract,” Uslu was quoted as saying by the Milliyet.

The Spanish international keeper is expected to leave Real Madrid after spending 16 years at the La Liga giants.

Casillas won five league titles, three Champions Leagues and two Spanish cups during his time at the club.

Arsenal have also been closely linked with the Spanish international star keeper recently following speculation that he will leave Real Madrid according to the Telegraph.

Fenerbahçe finished the league season in second place and booked a place in the Champions League play-off stages.

Portuguese manager Vitor Pereira was appointed Fenerbahçe manager on a two-year deal on Thursday 11 June.
