Fenerbahçe have completed the signing of Atletico Paranaenese striker Fernandao on a three-year deal according to Sampiy10.com.
The deal is reported to be worth $1.8 million in the first season, and will increase to $1.9 million in the second and $2 million in the third season.
The Brazilian striker has been on loan at fellow Süper Lig outfit Bursaspor this season who had a buyout clause option to make his stay permanent.
Fernandao has scored the highest number of goals in the league this season – 22.
The powerful striker has a total of 25 goals and eight assists in all competitions this season. Only Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba has scored more in all competitions (27) although he has scored four less in the league.
Galatasaray were also reported to be closely linked with the 28-year-old forward.
Bursaspor are currently fifth in the Süper Lig just two points behind fourth placed Başakşehir and have scored the highest number of goals in the league this season (69).
