Fenerbahce target Leverkusen defender

Fenerbahce have been linked with Leverkusen’s central defender Omer Toprak.
The Istanbul giants are looking to add quality Turkish players to their squad in January and have singled out the Bundesliga star.
According to Eurosport TR, Fenerbahce are close to agreeing a fee with Levekusen which is believed to be around the €6 million mark.
However, Toprak is unlikely to want to leave Leverkusen who are currently performing well in the Bundesliga and have qualified to the Last 16 of the Champions League.
Fenerbahce are prepared to pay the 25-year-old €2.5 million per season.
Toprak has made 21 appearances for Leverkusen this season.
