Fenerbahçe will go into the winter break 5-6 clear at the top of the table according to manager Ismail Kartal.
“We have to be concentrated now, there is no margin for error and I do not think we will mess up,” Kartal said.
“Our main advantage is our rivals having games against each other, this is why I believe we will go into the winter break 5-6 points clear at the top of the table.
“The next game against Bursaspor is key, we went into the international break as leader but these breaks can be a problem for teams when they have hit a rich vein of form.
“We want to continue where we left off and win this game.
“The Bursaspor match represents a turning point, it is vital that we win.”
Fenerbahçe are currently first in the Süper Lig on goal difference. Galatasaray also have 19 points but one place beneath the Yellow Canaries in the standings due to a lower goal difference.
