Former Chelsea player teases Arda for Barcelona celebrations

Arda Turan Barcelona team news

The former Chelsea and Celtic player Craig Burley has expressed his confusional at Arda Turan’s decision to celebrate Barcelona’s Super Cup victory in full kit.

Turan watched from the sidelines as his side won the trophy despite not setting foot on the field himself however, did not miss the chance to pose with the team during the trophy ceremony.

“Whats that all about, somebody in the dressing room should of pulled him aside and said, sort yourself out, your not playing you cant play put your suit on,” Burley jokingly remarked on ESPN FC’s TV show.

The Turkish international was included in the 24 man squad but was unable to play due to the FIFA transfer ban restricting Barcelona from registering new signings until the turn of the year.

Turan joined Barcelona on a £24 million transfer from Atletico Madrid but will be unable to play until at least January.

Turan provided six assists and scored three goals in 46 appearances for Atletico Madrid last season.
