Beşiktaş striker scored and provided an assist in the Black Eagles 5-1 win over Erciyesspor in the Süper Lig on Sunday.

Ba scored the Eagles second goal from the penalty spot on 34 minutes.

The Senegalese international provided a brilliant assist, bringing down Necip Uysal’s long pass with a brilliant first touch before passing to Olcay Şahan who found the back of the net from just inside the penalty area.

The Senegalese international has now scored five penalties in the league this season and six in total in all competitions.

The 29-year-old also became the leading goalscorer – alongside Bursaspor forward Fernandao – in the league following his 15th Süper Lig goal.

The former Chelsea striker is also the Eagles leading scorer in European competition.

Ba has a total of 24 goals and seven assists in 34 appearances in all competitions since joining from Chelsea in the summer.

Beşiktaş moved into first place following their win over Erciyesspor and take on Club Brugge in the Europa League Last 16 second-leg game on Thursday.
