The Former Galatasaray manager Frank Rijkaard has been linked with a return to his former club Barcelona.
Barcelona’s current manager Luis Enrique has found himself under pressure following an inconsistent start to the season. The pressure on pressure on Enrique intensified following his sides defeat to Real Sociedad in the league.
A poor result against Atletico Madrid could see the Catalan club part company with their 44-year-old manager.
Rijkaard previously managed Galatasaray for the 2009-10 season.
The Dutch manager was sacked following an unsuccessful spell at the Istanbul Giants.
Rijkaard has also previously managed Saudi Arabia, Sparta Rotterdam and the Netherlands national team.
