Former Man Utd winger provides 5th assist against Celtic

Fenerbahçe held Celtic to a 2-2 draw at Celtic Park in their second Europa League group stage game.

The Yellow Canaries came from two goals osehind to mount a comeback and almost ended up taking all three points back to Istanbul.

The Istanbul giants have Fernandao’s brace to thank for getting back into the game but it was former Manchester United winger Luis Nani who provided the assist for the second goal.

Fernandao made the most of poor Celtic defending to header Nani’s corner into back of the net for his second goal of the game.

The Portuguese international caused Celtic problems with his forward runs and completed the highest number of successful dribbles for his team (2).

Nani has now provided three assists and scored a total of four goals since joining the Canaries on a three-year deal over the summer.

Fenerbahçe take on Akhisar at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium next on Sunday 4 October.
