Former QPR midfielder Stephane M'bia leaves Turkey after failing to agree deal with Trabzonspor

Stephen M’bia has left Turkey after failing to agree personal terms with Trabzonspor.

The Cameroon international decided against the move after passing a medical with the Black Sea Storm.

According to the Milliyet, M’bia wanted an increase on both his yearly wage and appearance bonus however, Trabzonspor were unwilling to agree upon the increase.

M’bia is free to talks with any club as his contract with Sevilla expires at the end of the month.

The 29-year-old has perviously played for QPR, Marseille, Rennes, FC Stande Rennes and Kadji Sports. M’bia joined Sevilla on a free transfer at the start of the season on a one-year deal.

The Cameroon international has played an important role in getting Sevilla to the Europa League final.

The experienced defensive midfielder has two assists and seven goals in 34 appearances in all competitions for Sevilla this season.

Trabzonspor finished the season in fifth place with 57 points in 34 games.
