Former Tottenham boss Ramos has received offer from Besiktas

Beşiktaş have been linked with former Tottenham manager Juande Ramos according to Eurosport TR.

Ramos spoke to Radyospor and claimed that the Black Eagles made him an offer to take over as head coach.

“We had a meeting but there is nothing concrete yet, I am considering the offer,” Ramos said.

The Spanish manager is currently unemployed after resigning from his position as Dnipro manager in 2014.

Ramos won back-to-back Europa League with Sevilla in 2005-07 and has also coached Tottenham, Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow.

Slaven Bilic has resigned from his position as Beşiktaş manager and the Black Eagles have drawn up a shortlist of managerial candidates including Lucescu and Şenol Güneş.

The Black Eagles finished the Süper Lig in third place despite being in the title race until the penultimate week of the season.

Beşiktaş will play in the Europa League group stages next season.

The Istanbul giants reached the Europa League quarter finals this season beating Tottenham and Liverpool along the way.
