Galatasaray are close to completing a deal to sign Mustafa Yumlu from Trabzonspor according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik.

The Lion’s are on the hunt for new centre backs following the injuries to Semih Kaya and Koray Gunter sustained during the International Royal Cup in Alanya.

Galatasaray want to loan the 27-year-old until the end of the season with an option to buy. Yumlu was left out of the Trabzonspor squad by Vahid Halilhodžić and hasn’t been recalled by the clubs new manager Ersun Yanal. The powerful centre back is expected to leave the Black Sea Storm before the end of the January transfer window.
