Galatasaray chief scout Emre Utkucan has denied reports claiming that the Lions are not interested in Trabzonspor midfielder Mehmet Ekici.

An article in Turkish newspaper Sabah suggested that Galatasaray scouts submitted a report to the clubs transfer committee deeming Ekici not good enough to play for the club.

Utkucan tweeted: “The report in the Sabah claiming that Galatasaray scouts filed a report saying Mehmet Ekici is not good enough for the club is false.”
