Galatasaray hold talks with Tottenham target Kevin Prince Boateng

Galatasaray are locked in negotiations with Kevin Prince Boateng’s agent Edward Crnjar according to the Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.

Di Marzio posted the news on his own website and on his twitter page.

Boateng recently signalled his interest in joining Galatasaray when he re-tweeted Wesley Sneijder’s tweet showcasing the trophies Galatasaray won this season.

Galatasaray are preparing a €1.5 million per-season-deal for the former AC Milan forward according to Fanatik.

Boateng has a year remaining on his contract with Schalke 04 who have placed the 28-year-old on the transfer list. The Bundesliga side are rumoured to be looking for a fee in the region of €5 million.

Galatasaray could however, face competition from Premier League side Tottenham according to GOAL.

MLS side New York Red Bulls are also reported to be in the race for the Ghana international according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Boateng made five assists in 25 appearances for Schalke in all competitions this season.
