Galatasaray have joined the race for Mainz 05 star Yunus Malli according to the Milliyet.

The Lions are considering making a move for the Turkish international star if Wesley Sneijder is sold over the summer.

Sneijder currently has a £6 million release clause option and Everton are reported to be interested in the Netherlands international.

Galatasaray could face competition from Tottenham who were linked with a £10 million for Malli back in March according to the Express.

Spurs also made an enquiry for the 24-year-old midfielder in January but were unable to secure a deal.

The North London based side have been heavily linked with Malli in recent months and had scouts present at Maniz’s game against Hanover 96 recently.

Sport Bild have also reported that Tottenham are interested in signing the attacking midfielder who had an excellent season.

Malli was called up for the Turkish national team ahead of Euro 2016 and made a brief appearance in what was overall a disappointing campaign for the country who were eliminated in the first round.
