Galatasaray have been linked with Fenerbahce’s experienced centre back Egemen Korkmaz according to a report in the Turkish newspaper Takvim.
The report states that Galatasaray have offered the 32-year-old a two year deal at €1.5 million per season.
Egemen, whose contract with Fenerbahce runs out at the end of this season has previously also played for Besiktas and Trabzonspor. If he makes the move to Galatasaray he will join Sergen Yalcin and Burak Yilmaz as the only players who have played for Turkeys big four (Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor).
Egemen has won one Turkish Super League title and one Turkish cup title since his arrival at Fenerbahce from Besiktas on a free transfer. The experienced defender was part of the Fenerbahce squad which reached the UEFA Europa League semi final in 2013.
The former Bursaspor and Trabzonspor player made 21 appearances for Fenerbahce last season.
Egemen has made five appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
